Welcome to My Inner Vegan!

This is my little space to share my favourite vegan recipes, my experiences with acne and mental health, and helpful tips on living a healthy lifestyle free from animal products, caffeine and alcohol.

My name is Jenna, and I currently live in an apartment in London with my boyfriend Elliott. I’ve been vegan for just over 18 months, after a long battle with cystic acne and severe anxiety.

I was born in England, and moved to New Zealand with my family as a child. In 2012 I moved back to the UK by myself, with the idea that I’d stay for twelve months. I didn’t plan on meeting the most amazing guy in the world! I’ve now been living in London for five years, and couldn’t be happier.

I initially went vegan for health reasons, but over time I realised that the benefits go far beyond my personal gain.

I firmly believe that veganism is so much more than what you eat.

It’s about striving to cause as little harm as possible, whether that’s to animals, to the environment or to other people.

It’s about mindfulness, compassion and self-respect.

It’s about following your own path, and not being afraid to be a little different.

It’s about living according to your personal morals and values.

I’m currently in the process of writing an ebook packed with 60 vegan recipes along with helpful veganism and anxiety tips (and mouth-watering food photos, of course!) My Inner Vegan will be available to download in September 2017!
